Cynthia McKinney says 5000 executed Katrina used as cover.

advertisement

Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney announced for the first time on Sunday that she has received information that some 5000, mostly male, possibly prisoners were killed execution style, by single gunshot to the head, using the tragic events of hurricane Katrina as a cover.

Candidate McKinney made the announcement at a conference in Oakland, Ca, for the Critical Resistance 10 on Sunday. While speaking she informed the audience that she has received information from a sources that were involved in the clean-up and disposal of the thousands of bodies. According to the source; who wishes to remain nameless at this time, he was charged by the Department of Defense with the task of processing the personal information into DOD computers and then dumping the bodies into a Louisiana swamp. McKinney also claims she has spoken to unnamed members of the Red Cross that this event did in fact take place.

Presidential candidate McKinney reminds members of the audience that we need to continue to be diligent in our investigations of the "Prison Industrial Complex".

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

What exactly would you find funny about this? This is a serious accusation and in light of the administrations track record very plausible.

Unless of course you have some disputing testimony?

'...have some disputing testimony?' What! I accuse you of drowning babies and I say its true until you have disputing testimony. How do you like it?

What about evidence? Evidence is what McKinney needs and she has none. Only a nut job would believe something like this without evidence.

dude (or dudette, as the case may be)

Yes, this is a serious accusation, and if it came from almost anyone but Cynthia McKinney I might give pause to think about it. However she has demonstrated time and again that she is, to be blunt, a nutjob.

If she or anyone else has ANY reliable evidence to support such an outrageous claim, then let's see it. Otherwise, this belongs in Weekly World News alongside the latest adventure of BatBoy and the current whereabouts of Elvis.

                What about evidence?

Claiming that our system still requires evidence to warrant action is naive. This administration has demonstrated time and time again that they do not have to follow any rules and the new candidates are also following suit.

                Tampering with elections.
                Mishandling of the 9/11 investigation.
Unwarranted assaults and arrests at protests. Obama campaign to hindering free speech.
Palin, Rove and many others obstructing legal investigations.
US Military violating every Geneva policy.
U.S. Military recruiting felons and non citizens.
Oh and lets not forget the hundreds of billions that was illegally given to every corporate thief and rogue tyrant leader that's willing to give them support for their efforts.

I accuse you of drowning babies and I say its true until you have disputing testimony.

Yes, if you accuse me of drowning babies it should warrant an investigation. It does not say that I am guilty, however I would be at minimum required to provide an alibi to "dispute" your claim ie. verbal evidence or testimony.

                BackSeatDriver

You can label me a "tin hat" wearer or conspiracy theorist if you wish. However it seem far more naive and ignorant to think at this point that these things did not happen and not investigate the claims.

Then again you 2 can keep drinking the sodium fluoride Kool-Aid they are serving you and go get your micro-chip implant today.

Perhaps, but then there's that little matter of the U.S. Constitution... I cannot go to a judge and get a search warrant for your home because I think you might be drowning babies. I have to provide SOME sort of evidence or probable cause. THEN AND ONLY THEN, could law enforcement look into the matter. Without probable cause, this is nothing more than hearsay bordering on slander..

"This administration has demonstrated time and time again that they do not have to follow any rules and the new candidates are also following suit." etc, etc.

That may be, but that's not what we're talking about here. Furthermore, two wrongs do not make a right. (Even though three rights make a left...)

Barley relevant under the patriot act and homeland security directives.

If this were only true. Although you can not go to a judge and get a warrant. You can go to or call your local police department and file a "citizens criminal report" or "compliant" against anyone you want to. All you need is a description of the individual you are filing a complaint against. This requires no more evidence than your testimony to initiate an investigation.

That is what we are talking about. McKinney is reveling how once again there is possibility that our government maybe involved in illegal activity right on our own soil.

It amazes me how no matter how criminal our government officials are, most people would rather poke fun and name call the people that point it out, rather than put any real effort forward to find out for themselves.

McKinney is delusional.  She probably has a diagnosable psychosis.  If you can't see that, you obviously haven't followed the statements she's made over the last few years.  Not only does she listen to the "voices" in her head, she actually repeats it!

I do not support Cynthia McKinney.

I respect her and everyone elses right to free speech and reported on a story.

Apparently reporting a story, immediatly means you support the content and subjects you to riddicule.

I don't think anyone is saying that, however supporting the notions that there is even a hint of anything remotely worthy of what she says is different. If you know the background on this woman you soon realize what a nutjob she is. Just because someone "says" something doesn't automatically call for congressional investigations, kinda of need something like let's say proof. She might as well thrown in we were in cahoots with alien lifeforms, bigfoot and the lochness. It's not a story if it's made up or from someones delusional fantasies.

                                    I mean come on, we have stories in the mainstream like;

"Palin thinks human and dinosaurs were alive together"

"John McCain is a war hero"

                                    "Obama is not American"

Exactly.  It's her nutty opinion with absolutely zero to back it up.  How about my claim that if this incident did happen, then she was the one who orchestrated and carried it out in an attempt to place the blame on the administration.  How's that for you?  I think you ought to contact someone and let them know this, proof or not they need to look into it.  A time waster.  The topics she speaks on?  Just about every one of them more nutty than the previous.  You don't think someone other than her would be knowledgeable of over 5,000 people murdered?  That in itself would be a fantastical accomplishment.

Bottom line, she's doing whatever it takes to get camera time, make every attempt possible to tear apart America.

All that can be equated anytime her name comes up is unadulterated pure nuttiness.

I am from GA, so we are alittle immune to Cyndi's rants...however...if she had claimed 5, 20, maybe even 100 people were dumped, then that is somewhat believeable - but 5000! That is a small town in America, an ENTIRE prison population, more than those killed on 9/11. Seriously, in 3 years, this is the first time we are hearing this? Come on. It is a publicity stunt. Yes, it can lead to an investigation and it may prove 1 prison was killed. Yes, he deserves justice. As for the continued comments of "this administration can't be trusted...." NO and I repeat NO Administration is truthful. My heavens, the Kennedy clan has KILLED people, but they are still one of the most respected families in the US. Clinton lied. Hillary lied. Nixon lied. LBJ was a sexual predator. Get over your hatred of Bush & Company. Don't even think for one minute that Obama's presidency will be transparent and squeaky clean, although that is how the left-wing media and liberal nutjobs will portray him because otherwise the accuser would be a racist.
